Examination Regulations

Registration, eligibility, conduct, evaluation, revaluation and malpractice.

Last updated: August 2026. This page forms part of the terms under which BGLRGM Institute of Vocational Education & Training provides its programmes and services.

1. Examination registration

Learners must apply for each examination within the notified dates and pay the examination fee. Late applications are accepted only where a late fee is notified.

3. Hall ticket

The hall ticket is released through the examination portal. Candidates must carry a printed hall ticket and a photo identity document to every session. Entry is not permitted without them.

5. Assessment pattern

Unless otherwise specified for a programme, assessment comprises internal assessment (25 marks) and an external examination (75 marks) per subject. Practical subjects are assessed on performance, record and viva. The minimum for a pass is as notified in the programme regulations.

6. Results, revaluation and supplementary

Results are published on the results page. A candidate may apply for revaluation or photocopy of the answer script within the notified window on payment of the prescribed fee. Supplementary examinations are conducted as per the academic calendar.

7. Malpractice

Use of unfair means is a serious offence. Depending on severity, consequences range from cancellation of the paper to cancellation of the entire examination and debarment from subsequent examinations, following an enquiry in which the candidate is heard.
