Recognition & Certification Disclosure

How programmes are certified, who awards each qualification, and what the certification does and does not represent.

Last updated: August 2026. This page forms part of the terms under which BGLRGM Institute of Vocational Education & Training provides its programmes and services.

BGLRGM Institute of Vocational Education Training (OPC) Private Limited is a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN U85306KA2025OPC197402, incorporated 28 January 2025). Incorporation evidences the existence of the company only. It is neither a licence nor a permission to conduct any regulated activity, and it is not in itself a recognition, accreditation or approval of any academic programme.

The company is recognised as a startup by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, under Certificate of Recognition No. DIPP192418 (issued 15 February 2025, valid up to 27 January 2035), in the Education industry and Skill Development sector. View the DPIIT certificate (PDF). DPIIT startup recognition relates to the company as a business entity; it is not an accreditation or approval of any academic programme.

1. Certification of vocational programmes

Certificate, Advanced Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Professional Diploma, Skill Development, Short-Term and other vocational programmes conducted by BGLRGM are certified by the institution or certifying body identified on that programme's own page and on the certificate itself. Every programme page states the awarding or certifying body before enrolment.

2. University degree programmes

B.Voc., M.Voc., Ph.D. and any other university degree are awarded only by the respective legally authorised university or institution — never by BGLRGM. Where BGLRGM participates in such a programme, it does so through an authorised academic, training, facilitation, industry or other collaborative arrangement, and the respective roles of BGLRGM and the awarding institution are disclosed on the relevant programme page.

3. What each programme page must state

4. Regulated occupations

For regulated occupations, completion of a vocational programme does not by itself constitute statutory professional registration, licence or authorisation to practise unless specifically recognised by the competent authority governing that occupation. Learners are advised to confirm the registration requirements applicable to their intended occupation before enrolling.

5. Currency of claims

Recognition, accreditation, approval and collaboration claims are programme-specific and are supported by applicable current documentation. Where an arrangement lapses, changes or is withdrawn, the affected programme pages are updated and admitted learners are informed. Prospective learners may request sight of the current documentation for any programme before paying a fee.

6. Verification

Certificates, student records, industry experience certificates and partner approvals issued by BGLRGM can be verified online through the verification pages.
