Grievance Redressal Policy

How a concern is raised, who considers it, and the time within which it is answered.

Last updated: August 2026. This page forms part of the terms under which BGLRGM Institute of Vocational Education & Training provides its programmes and services.

1. Scope

A learner, parent, staff member or partner may raise a concern relating to admissions, academics, examinations, fees, certificates, internship or OJT, placement, accommodation, student services, conduct or facilities.

2. How to raise a grievance

3. Stages and timelines

4. Committee

The grievance redressal committee includes a senior academic member, a centre representative and a student representative where the matter concerns a learner. Members with a personal interest in the matter recuse themselves.

5. Principles

Every complainant is given an opportunity to be heard. Complaints are handled confidentially so far as is consistent with a fair enquiry. No adverse action is taken against a person for raising a grievance in good faith.

6. Related mechanisms

Complaints of ragging are handled under the Anti-Ragging mechanism and complaints of sexual harassment under the POSH / Internal Complaints Committee mechanism, both of which take precedence over this general policy.

Questions about this page may be sent to admissions@bglrgm.com or raised through the grievance redressal form.
